3) Where can I find Live Charts / Candlestick Charts for Currencies Markets?
Spread betting companies often offer a variety of free data to their clients (accounts are subject to status, terms and conditions).
The most popular data, apart from live prices, tends to be the candlestick charts. The time period of the charts can usually be varied. You can often alter the candlestick charts to show market movements in the order of 1 minute, 2 minutes, 5 minutes, 10minutes, 1 hour, 1 day or 1 week periods.
With a number of the charts you can also update the settings to help your technical analysis. For example you can add Bollinger Bands and 20, 50 and 100 point Moving Averages.

4) How do you Spread Bet on Currencies Markets to Go Up?
Pound/Euro Spread Betting Example
If you decide to spread trade on a foreign exchange pair like the Pound/Euro then, looking at a spread betting site like Capital Spreads, you might find a spread betting price of £1.1240 - £1.1244.
Therefore, you could bet on the Pound/Euro to go above £1.1244 or below £1.1240.
When spread betting, you bet on every unit the market increases or decreases; with the Pound/Euro market a unit is £0.0001 of the forex pair's price movement.
As an example, you could choose to trade £2 for every £0.0001 the Pound/Euro rises or falls.
Spread Betting on the Market to Increase
If you were to go long of the Pound/Euro at £1.1244 and the forex pair went up then the spread could change to £1.1295 - £1.1299. Assuming this was the case, you might decide to take your profits by closing your spread bet at £1.1295.
Your P&L = (closing price of the market - initial price of the market) x stake per £0.0001
Your P&L = (£1.1295 - £1.1244) x £2 per £0.0001 stake
Your P&L = £0.0051 x £2 per £0.0001
Your P&L = £102 profit
Conversely, if the market had moved down to £1.1199 - £1.1203, you may decide to close your bet to restrict your losses. If that happened, you would sell the market at £1.1199.
You would do this with the same £2 per £0.0001 stake:
Your P&L = (closing price of the market - initial price of the market) x stake per £0.0001
Your P&L = (£1.1199 - £1.1244) x £2 per £0.0001 stake
Your P&L = -£0.0045 x £2 per £0.0001
Your P&L = -£90 loss
5) How do you Spread Bet on Currencies Markets to Go Down?
A major benefit of spread trading is that investors can go short of the markets.
In the BA example above the initial spread was 203.4p - 204.0p.
Spread Betting on the Market to Decrease
A benefit of spread betting is that you can sell the markets.
At the start of the example, the price was £1.1240 - £1.1244.
If you were to sell the Pound/Euro at £1.1240 and the forex pair fell then the spread could become £1.1190 - £1.1194. If that were to happen, you might decide to take your profits by closing your spread bet at £1.1194.
Your P&L = (initial price of the market - closing price of the market) x stake per £0.0001
Your P&L = (£1.1240 - £1.1194) x £2 per £0.0001 stake
Your P&L = £0.0046 x £2 per £0.0001
Your P&L = £92 profit
Markets can also rise, if the market had risen to £1.1276 - £1.1280, you might want to close your spread bet to prevent further losses. If so, you would buy at £1.1280.
With the same £2 per £0.0001 stake:
Your P&L = (initial price of the market - closing price of the market) x stake per £0.0001
Your P&L = (£1.1240 - £1.1280) x £2 per £0.0001 stake
Your P&L = -£0.0040 x £2 per £0.0001
Your P&L = -£80 loss
