3) Where can I find Live Charts / Candlestick Charts for the PPR Market?
Spread betting companies often offer a variety of free data to their clients (accounts are subject to status, terms and conditions).
The most popular French Shares data, apart from live prices, tends to be the candlestick charts. The time period of the charts can usually be varied. You can often alter the candlestick charts to show market movements in the order of 1 minute, 2 minutes, 5 minutes, 10minutes, 1 hour, 1 day or 1 week periods.

4) How do you Spread Bet on the PPR Market to Go Up?
PPR Trading Example
If you are going to spread trade on French shares like PPR then, on visiting a spread trading website like Capital Spreads, you might find a spread of €86.85 - €87.15.
Therefore, you could bet on PPR shares to move above €87.15 or below €86.85.
With spread trading, investors bet on every unit the market goes up or down; specifically, for the PPR market a unit is €0.01 of the share's price movement.
With this example, you might decide to bet £1 for every cent that the PPR share price goes up or down.
Spread Betting on the Market to Rise
If you were to buy PPR at €87.15 and the shares went up then you might see the spread move to €88.59 - €88.89. If this were the case, you might decide to close your bet for a profit at €88.59.
Profit/Loss = (final level of the market - initial level of the market) x stake per cent
Profit/Loss = (€88.59 - €87.15) x £1 per cent stake
Profit/Loss = €1.44 x £1 per cent
Profit/Loss = £144 profit
Conversely, if the market had moved down to, for example, €85.80 - €86.10, you might want to close your trade to prevent further losses. Assuming this was the case, you would sell back at €85.80.
With the same £1 per cent stake:
Profit/Loss = (final level of the market - initial level of the market) x stake per cent
Profit/Loss = (€85.80 - €87.15) x £1 per cent stake
Profit/Loss = -€1.35 x £1 per cent
Profit/Loss = -£135 loss
5) How do you Spread Bet on the PPR Market to Go Down?
A key benefit of spread trading is that investors can go short of the markets.
The initial market was priced at €86.85 - €87.15.
If you were to go short of PPR at €86.85 and the shares fell then you might see the spread move to €85.19 - €85.49. In that case, you could close your spread bet at €85.49.
Profit/Loss = (initial level of the market - final level of the market) x stake per cent
Profit/Loss = (€86.85 - €85.49) x £1 per cent stake
Profit/Loss = €1.36 x £1 per cent
Profit/Loss = £136 profit
However, if the market were to rise up to, as an example, €87.83 - €88.13, you might want to close your trade to restrict your losses. If that were to happen, you would buy back at €88.13.
You would close your bet with the same £1 per cent stake:
Profit/Loss = (initial level of the market - final level of the market) x stake per cent
Profit/Loss = (€86.85 - €88.13) x £1 per cent stake
Profit/Loss = -€1.28 x £1 per cent
Profit/Loss = -£128 loss
