3) Where can I find Live Charts / Candlestick Charts for the RWE Market?
Spread betting companies often offer a variety of free data to their clients (accounts are subject to status, terms and conditions).
The most popular German Shares data, apart from live prices, tends to be the candlestick charts. The time period of the charts can usually be varied. You can often alter the candlestick charts to show market movements in the order of 1 minute, 2 minutes, 5 minutes, 10minutes, 1 hour, 1 day or 1 week periods.

4) How do you Spread Bet on the RWE Market to Go Up?
RWE Trading Example
If you are going to spread bet on German shares such as RWE then, looking at a spread betting site like Capital Spreads, you would currently see a spread betting price of €66.14 - €66.32.
As a result, you could spread trade on RWE shares to go higher than €66.32 or to go lower than €66.14.
When spread trading, investors bet on every unit the market increases or decreases; for the RWE market a unit is €0.01 of the share's price movement.
For this example, you could decide to trade £1 for every cent that the RWE share price moves up or down.
Buying - Spread Betting on the Market to Rise
If you were to go long of RWE at €66.32 and the shares went up then you might see the spread move to €67.31 - €67.49. If so, you could close your bet for a profit, if so you would sell at €67.31.
Your Profits (or Losses) = (closing value of the market - initial value of the market) x stake per cent
Your Profits (or Losses) = (€67.31 - €66.32) x £1 per cent stake
Your Profits (or Losses) = €0.99 x £1 per cent
Your Profits (or Losses) = £99 profit
The markets can of course fall, if the market had moved down to, for example, €65.23 - €65.41, you might decide to close your trade to restrict your losses. If this were the case, you would sell your spread bet at €65.23.
You would do this with the same £1 per cent stake:
Your Profits (or Losses) = (closing value of the market - initial value of the market) x stake per cent
Your Profits (or Losses) = (€65.23 - €66.32) x £1 per cent stake
Your Profits (or Losses) = -€1.09 x £1 per cent
Your Profits (or Losses) = -£109 loss
5) How do you Spread Bet on the RWE Market to Go Down?
One of the advantages of placing a spread bet is that investors can go short of the markets.
At the start of the example, the market was €66.14 - €66.32.
If you were to sell RWE at €66.14 and the shares fell then the spread could move to €64.92 - €65.10. Therefore, you might decide to take your profits by closing your spread trade at €65.10.
Your Profits (or Losses) = (initial value of the market - closing value of the market) x stake per cent
Your Profits (or Losses) = (€66.14 - €65.10) x £1 per cent stake
Your Profits (or Losses) = €1.04 x £1 per cent
Your Profits (or Losses) = £104 profit
However, if the market were to rise up to, as an example, €67.11 - €67.29, you may want to close your trade to prevent further losses. If that happened, you would buy the market at €67.29.
You would close your bet with the same £1 per cent stake:
Your Profits (or Losses) = (initial value of the market - closing value of the market) x stake per cent
Your Profits (or Losses) = (€66.14 - €67.29) x £1 per cent stake
Your Profits (or Losses) = -€1.15 x £1 per cent
Your Profits (or Losses) = -£115 loss
