If you decide to spread trade on Danish shares like TrygVesta then, looking at a spread trading site like Financial Spreads, you might find a spread of 271.3 DKK - 272.1 DKK.
Therefore, you can bet on TrygVesta shares to move above 272.1 DKK or below 271.3 DKK.
When making a spread bet, you trade on every unit the market rises or falls; for the TrygVesta market a unit is 1 Danish Krone of the share's price movement.
For example, you might decide to bet £10 for every Krone that the TrygVesta share price moves up or down.
Betting on the Market to Go Up

You would close your bet with the same £10 per Krone stake:
P&L = (closing value of the market - initial value of the market) x stake per Krone
P&L = (264.6 DKK - 272.1 DKK) x £10 per Krone stake
P&L = -7.5 DKK x £10 per Krone
P&L = -£75.00 loss
5) How do you Spread Bet on the TrygVesta Market to Go Down?
One useful benefit of placing a spread trade is that you can short the markets.
If you recall, initially the market was 271.3 DKK - 272.1 DKK.
If you were to sell TrygVesta at 271.3 DKK and the shares decreased then the spread could change to 262.0 DKK - 262.8 DKK. If so, you could close your bet for a profit by buying at 262.8 DKK.

P&L = (initial value of the market - closing value of the market) x stake per Krone
P&L = (271.3 DKK - 279.1 DKK) x £10 per Krone stake
P&L = -7.8 DKK x £10 per Krone
P&L = -£78.00 loss
