If you decide to spread trade on US shares such as Walgreen then, on visiting a spread trading site like Capital Spreads, you might see a spread trading price of $36.68 - $36.73.
That means you could spread trade on Walgreen shares to go higher than $36.73 or to go lower than $36.68.
When making a spread bet, you bet on every unit the market moves up or down. In the case of the Walgreen market a unit is $0.01 of the share's price movement.
As an example, you could decide to bet £2 for every cent that the Walgreen share price goes up or down.

Profit/Loss = (settlement price of the market - initial price of the market) x stake per cent
Profit/Loss = ($36.27 - $36.73) x £2 per cent stake
Profit/Loss = -$0.46 x £2 per cent
Profit/Loss = -£92 loss
5) How do you Spread Bet on the Walgreen Market to Go Down?
